Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable AI and machine learning models and solutions.
- Deliver manufacturing use cases such as predictive maintenance, quality inspection, yield optimization, and throughput improvement.
- Develop data pipelines and integrate AI solutions with enterprise and operations systems.
- Build and support AI-based vision systems for shop floor applications.
- Partner with Operations and IT teams to define use cases, translate business problems into AI solutions, and assess build-versus-buy decisions.
- Monitor model performance, support data and model governance, document solutions, and drive standardization and reuse across sites and functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in manufacturing or OT environments, with PLC and SCADA experience or exposure and MES exposure.
- At least two years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data and building and deploying AI-based vision systems.
- Experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, data engineering, ETL pipelines, model deployment, APIs, microservices, and Docker.
- Understanding of industrial systems, manufacturing processes, or IoT data, with the ability to bridge technical and business domains.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, discrete manufacturing experience, Digital Factory or Industry 4.0 experience, MES/PLM/ERP integrations, computer vision, OpenCV, time-series analysis, and edge AI deployment experience.
