Staff Embedded Engineer responsible for developing and optimizing software for ecobee’s connected HVAC and home-automation devices, spanning low-level hardware interactions, embedded Linux applications, user interfaces, networking, and device testing. The role collaborates closely with hardware, QA, manufacturing, product, and external technology partners.

The AI Applications Engineer will build and deploy production-ready AI and machine learning solutions for manufacturing operations, including predictive maintenance, quality inspection, and yield optimization. The role combines model development, data engineering, industrial-system integration, and business translation, with up to 25% local travel.
