Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AI- and LLM-enabled applications and capabilities.
  • Support AI pilot initiatives from concept through testing, integration, and deployment.
  • Design and develop software solutions using Python and modern cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Support API development, system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
  • Develop and evaluate prompts and LLM-based solutions to improve application performance and usability.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve software development efficiency.
  • Contribute to production-ready AI solutions and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing AI- or LLM-enabled applications and strong software engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting solution design, development, testing, deployment, and integration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/TSA Moderate-Risk Public Trust or equivalent federal suitability determination.
  • Experience with Python, AWS serverless architectures, Amazon Bedrock or similar generative AI platforms, LLMs, prompt engineering, model evaluation, performance optimization, APIs, and AI-enabled development tools is preferred.
  • Experience developing production-ready AI applications in a federal or enterprise environment is preferred.
  • Existing or prior TSA/DHS Public Trust clearance is strongly preferred.
