Responsibilities
- Champion architectural excellence across multiple teams in alignment with SAP’s AI-first and Suite-first strategy.
- Manage major architectural initiatives from ideation through implementation, emphasizing scalability, performance, and security.
- Design and manage cloud and AI system architectures for complex customer solutions.
- Identify architecture risks, provide strategic recommendations, and influence management decisions.
- Define and drive architectural roadmaps with executive leadership and product teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and promote innovative, scalable development approaches.
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to align architecture decisions with business needs.
- Improve development processes and provide technical leadership and documentation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture with recognized expertise in AI system architecture, cloud-native frameworks, or large-scale distributed systems.
- Expertise in multiple modern programming languages and environments, including Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go.
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture and cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Deep proficiency with container technologies, Kubernetes including Gardener, and network technology.
- Experience with SAP technologies, BTP, and enterprise integration landscapes.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems using modern cloud platforms.
- Expertise in distributed systems or data and AI/ML architecture, including model training, deployment, MLOps, and AI service integration.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
- Extensive technical documentation experience and demonstrated technical leadership.
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
