Responsibilities

  • Develop applications for automation, backend services, data processing, and user-facing solutions.
  • Build and integrate API-driven services across engineering tools, enterprise systems, and databases.
  • Design engineering data flows and develop modular, reusable software components.
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities into engineering and business applications.
  • Deploy proof-of-concepts and manage solution rollouts on-premises or in the cloud.
  • Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to deliver clean, usable data and scalable solutions.
  • Apply code reviews, testing, documentation, release management, and version control.
  • Evaluate technology choices for scalability, maintainability, reuse, and business value.

Requirements

  • Require 3–6 years of relevant professional experience in software development, AI/ML engineering, systems integration, engineering software, automation, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and React.
  • Practical experience with REST APIs, API-based integration, and service-oriented architectures including MCP.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, relational data modeling, and database design, plus working knowledge of NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, cloud architectures, edge computing, and distributed applications.
  • Working knowledge of machine learning and deep learning concepts, including model training, inference, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Familiarity with generative AI, LLM-based applications, AI agents, or AI-enabled workflow automation is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Git and collaborative software development practices.
  • Understanding of software quality practices, modular architecture, reusable components, separation of concerns, and scalable UX design.
  • Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, industrial automation, IoT, machine data, process data, CAD/CAE, simulation, digital twins, or model-based engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, including translating loosely defined requirements into implementable solutions.
