Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test software for robotic platforms across navigation, planning and control, SLAM, perception, manipulation, and high-level behaviors.
- Write and maintain production-level C++ and Python code.
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers and researchers to deploy advanced models on robots.
- Work with deployment and test engineers to deploy and monitor robotic solutions at various sites.
- Optimize robotic software for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or higher degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency developing in C++ or Python.
- Prior experience developing and deploying software on real robots.
- Strong systems-level understanding of software modules and their interfaces in robotic applications.
- Strong technical experience in navigation, motion planning and controls, SLAM, perception or computer vision, or manipulation.
- Experience with ROS, ROS2, or other robotics middleware platforms.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Familiarity with machine learning integration and deployment in robotic systems.
