Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test software for robotic systems focusing on navigation, planning, and control.
- Write and maintain production-level C++ and Python code for robotic platforms.
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers to deploy state-of-the-art models on robots.
- Work with deployment and test engineers to monitor robotic solutions at various sites.
- Continuously improve and optimize robotic software for performance and reliability.
Requirements
- BS, MS or higher degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in C++ or Python development.
- Prior experience developing and deploying software on real robots.
- Strong understanding of software modules and interfaces in robotic applications.
- Experience with ROS/ROS2 or other robotics middleware platforms.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles, including algorithms and system design.
- Familiarity with machine learning integration in robotic systems.
