Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services for the cloud-native data protection platform.
- Take ownership of features or components from implementation through production operation.
- Diagnose and resolve complex backend issues while continuously improving systems.
- Collaborate with product, quality assurance, and customer-facing teams to clarify requirements.
- Participate in on-call and operational responsibilities to ensure system reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and reinforce best practices in code quality and design.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building and operating non-trivial production systems.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Python, Java, or Rust.
- Ability to translate loosely defined requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to work with geographically distributed teams.
