Base Salary
$69k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist with requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
- Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other Engineering professionals.
- Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
- Follow established development practices and processes for software configuration management.
- Maintain awareness of advances in software development and missile technology.
- Obtain required program access after starting, as applicable.
Requirements
- STEM degree and a minimum of two years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with C++, C, or another object-oriented programming language.
- Experience with hardware-software integration and embedded system testing.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance before the start date.
- Ability to obtain special program access after starting.
- Preferred knowledge of data structures and algorithms, systems software design, operating systems and architectures, assembly, C/C++ programming, structured programming concepts, object-oriented design, Unified Modeling Language, and statistical and numerical methods.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
