Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot Android software applications for client deployment.
- Analyze requirements, system flows, data usage, processes, and problem areas to create feasible software designs.
- Write and modify code, fix errors, improve performance, adapt software to hardware changes, and upgrade interfaces.
- Design and automate software validation through test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Perform root-cause analysis, investigate system issues, and recommend improvements to system performance and availability.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, functional teams, systems analysts, project managers, and engineering staff.
- Prepare code documentation, technical reports, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, status updates, and project specifications.
- Track customer requirements, respond to requests, collect feedback, and support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in continuing education, training, and certification activities to maintain current skills.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Android application development.
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into software designs and implementations.
- Experience with coding, software validation, testing, debugging, performance improvement, and system modification.
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot software and system issues.
- Ability to document solutions, project activities, requirements, and implementation details clearly.
- Strong customer collaboration, communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn new programming languages, follow software quality practices, and complete relevant certifications.
