Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate major components of the agentic AI platform, including evaluation infrastructure, sandboxed environments, reinforcement learning and post-training pipelines, self-learning data pipelines, and inference serving.
- Lead design documentation, technical reviews, and build-versus-adopt decisions for owned systems.
- Own system reliability and performance by instrumenting services, reducing failure modes, and reporting platform health through metrics.
- Partner with applied scientists to productionize research code and provide reusable interfaces for partner teams.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code and design reviews, and help set technical direction across platform systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling considerations.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: 5+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
