Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and implement software enhancements, applications, and projects for Data Quality platforms.
- Build multi-tier software solutions using Java, Python, JVM languages, and cloud computing technologies.
- Write unit and automation tests and participate in code reviews to support a high-quality product.
- Participate in Scrum activities including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Triage production issues by reviewing code and logs and developing solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and collaborate with peers and multiple teams to deliver solutions for financial-sector needs.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of commercial software development experience and proficiency developing multi-tier solutions.
- Extensive Java n-tier application experience, including core Java and multithreading.
- Programming experience with JVM languages and cloud computing technologies.
- Experience with or knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure or AWS, Snowflake, KSQL, and KStreams.
- Experience with microservices architecture and understanding of cloud computing are highly desirable.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, interpersonal, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector; a mathematics background is highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile software development methodology is desired.
