Responsibilities
- Develop software features for Cisco IOS XR networking solutions.
- Test and integrate software into customer environments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for a particular component area when assigned.
- Collaborate with product management, testing, and customer teams to translate requirements into working solutions.
- Develop expertise in networking, security, and operating-system protocols.
- Perform issue triage, support, monitoring, and resolution.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, electronics and communication, or a technical equivalent.
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in C/C++.
- Proven understanding of GenAI capabilities and AI-powered software development.
- Knowledge of operating-system concepts, computer networking, multithreaded programming, and system programming on UNIX-based systems.
- Exposure to network security, Go, Python, L2/L3 protocols, or optical networking is preferred.
