Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, execute, debug, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions across multiple technical areas.
  • Build and support scalable full-stack applications spanning user interfaces, middleware, backend services, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software code complies with design constraints.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and automation while validating generated outputs.
  • Collaborate with front-end, back-end, cloud, and platform teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Analyze large and diverse data sets, create visualizations and reports, and use insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Guide peers on responsible, secure, and effective use of AI-assisted engineering tools.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment using Java, Spring Boot, React or Angular, and AWS cloud technologies.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting full-stack applications across user interface, middleware, and backend services.
  • Experience building and supporting scalable cloud-native applications using AWS services and distributed architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency expectations, and security requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and application resiliency and security practices.
  • Preferred experience with modern front-end technologies, AWS services including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, and Lambdas, Kafka or similar messaging technologies, Docker, and Kubernetes.
