Base Salary
$230k - $385k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale core infrastructure for monetization and advertising products.
- Develop advertiser-facing APIs and tools for creating, managing, and measuring ads.
- Build external-partner integrations and enterprise-grade monetization products.
- Architect distributed systems and services with strong reliability, usability, privacy, performance, and scalability guarantees.
- Collaborate with Product, Research, and Design to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive 0→1 development through prototyping, experimentation, and iterative deployment.
- Contribute to technical strategy, new directions, and the monetization and ads platform roadmap.
- Maintain engineering rigor through testing, documentation, and operational best practices.
- Ensure monetization systems uphold safety, privacy, fairness, and policy compliance.
- Help refine engineering processes, culture, and best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building high-scale consumer, enterprise, or advertising-related systems.
- Track record of architecting and delivering complex distributed systems with demanding reliability and performance requirements.
- Ability to navigate ambiguous product spaces and contribute to technical roadmaps and long-term direction.
- Strong product intuition and deep collaboration skills with Product, Design, and Research.
- Experience working in 0→1 environments where systems, architecture, and user experiences are defined from scratch.
- Clear communication, holistic thinking, and decision-making grounded in user needs and long-term sustainability.
- Motivation to build privacy-preserving, safe, and user-first monetization systems.
- Experience with advertising systems, marketplaces, or other monetization-heavy domains is a bonus.
