Base Salary
$152k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-powered solutions for invoice coding, cash application, reconciliations, journal-entry support, close coordination, reporting, forecasting, and decision support.
- Apply LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows to finance and accounting processes and ship validated solutions to production.
- Partner with Finance leadership, accounting teams, operational finance, Data Science, and Data Services to discover opportunities and deploy solutions.
- Develop evaluation frameworks, human-in-the-loop review workflows, exception handling, confidence-based routing, and audit documentation.
- Ensure financial calculations use deterministic, auditable logic rather than generative outputs.
- Create reusable AI delivery components and monitor deployed solutions for accuracy drift, performance, cost, and adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional engineering experience, including 3+ years designing and delivering production LLM-based applications and agentic workflows, with demonstrated technical leadership.
- Experience applying AI, machine learning, or advanced automation to finance or accounting processes.
- Understanding of P&L structure, close and reporting processes, and relationships between financial results and transactional data.
- Full-stack development experience building user-facing applications and review interfaces without a separate front-end team.
- Strong Python and SQL skills and experience with modern cloud data platforms.
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and translate between technical and finance audiences.
- Preferred experience with Databricks, ERP and accounting systems of record, and multi-unit businesses such as live entertainment, hospitality, or retail.
- A master's degree in a related field is preferred.
