Responsibilities
- Build and maintain new product features in the cross-platform TypeScript React Native application.
- Learn product areas, collaborate with feature owners, and suggest improvements.
- Participate in design and architecture discussions for the Sezzle platform.
- Contribute hands-on code, code reviews, and clean, scalable, robust, and testable software.
- Assist with project planning, estimation, and completion.
- Support the mobile application as a platform and collaborate with engineers across teams on larger product releases.
Requirements
- Experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred, or equivalent related experience.
- Familiarity with modern frontend development and JavaScript or TypeScript; React Native or React experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.
- Experience delivering a mobile application to the App Store or Google Play Store is preferred.
- Knowledge of automated unit, integration, and end-to-end application testing is preferred.
- Familiarity with React Native application principles and RESTful APIs is preferred.
- Familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodology, and release processes is preferred.
