Base Salary
$140k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering teams to develop software solutions for Arrive’s freight brokerage business.
- Design and execute medium- to large-scale technical solutions with relative independence.
- Develop, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain software products and systems.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, subject matter expertise, and architectural guidance.
- Establish engineering best practices, standards, documentation, and collaborative processes.
- Complete code reviews, improve test coverage, and provide feedback to ensure product quality.
- Communicate technical decisions and project context to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in guild talks, standards discussions, and other organization-wide engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering or closely related experience; logistics industry experience is preferred.
- Experience developing large-scale projects involving multiple teams and modern development frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, engineering best practices, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in system design and architectural problem-solving.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions and designs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to solve unique and complex problems independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with technical documentation, monitoring, alerting, and the software development lifecycle of large-scale systems.
- Experience building enterprise software in .NET.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure tools and technologies is preferred.
- Experience with React, Redux, and GraphQL is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
