Base Salary
$129k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Extend the high-scale ingestion pipeline to ingest new and advanced data objects.
- Optimize system performance and cost.
- Own and develop complex backend systems that enable Braze's product offering.
- Build new Core Objects systems and features.
- Use agentic AI tools to navigate the Ruby monolith, create proofs of concept, and move efficiently from requirements to working solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Experience serving as a technical leader.
- Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Preferred experience building software at scale.
- Preferred professional experience with one or more of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Go, SQL, NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and API design, monitoring, or best practices.
- Preferred experience with agile processes and a passion for customer experience.
