Base Salary
$86k - $127k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy mainframe applications.
- Code and enhance applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
- Troubleshoot production issues, manage incidents, and provide timely resolutions.
- Monitor and schedule batch jobs.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and conduct impact analysis.
- Support system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Follow coding standards and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe z/OS, COBOL or Enterprise COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2 for z/OS, CICS, TSO/ISPF, and SDSF.
- Experience with Endevor, Changeman, or similar source-control tools.
- Experience with batch processing, job scheduling, production support, incident management, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Experience maintaining, enhancing, and supporting mainframe applications.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
