Base Salary
$175k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver complex platform features end-to-end with minimal oversight.
- Translate high-level business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design systems, model data, and write server-side code across multiple technologies.
- Evolve legacy systems alongside greenfield development.
- Maintain focus on testing, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Own projects, define requirements, and lead development.
- Participate in architecture discussions and help determine technical direction.
- Engage in on-call and production support activities.
- Evaluate and promote new technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of server-side development experience using languages such as Java, Ruby, Python, Clojure, or C#.
- Strong understanding of system and architecture design principles, particularly for distributed systems.
- Ability to own projects, define requirements, and lead development.
- Strong problem-solving skills across software development and support work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience with Platform as a Service and transforming services into products.
- Preferred experience with IAM concepts including RBAC/ABAC, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, or SCIM.
- Preferred experience with temporal data modeling, APIs used by other teams, and real-time or event-driven systems.
