Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex, scalable React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, development, testing, and releases.
- Prepare and produce software component releases.
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, and load times.
- Investigate technologies and present recommendations for architectural review.
- Mentor and support engineers through technical direction and development best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in mobile application development.
- Experience developing Android and iOS applications and deploying them to Google Play and the App Store.
- Strong knowledge of Android and iOS application architecture and the full mobile development lifecycle.
- Thorough understanding of React Native and its core principles.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, the virtual DOM, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with ES6, ES10, and JSX.
- Experience with libraries for networking, asynchronous operations, image loading, and related mobile functionality.
- Knowledge of React Native patterns for code reuse, state management libraries, and routing architecture.
- Experience optimizing mobile application performance, managing memory, and reducing load times.
- Experience using AI tools in the software development lifecycle, including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Codex.
