Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security solutions such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in systems and networks.
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches.
- Collaborate with teams to establish and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Monitor network traffic and system logs for potential security incidents.
- Analyze and investigate security breaches and anomalies.
- Integrate security into all phases of the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer with a focus on security controls.
- Strong skills in log collection and analysis using tools like Splunk.
- Experience implementing security controls from regulatory frameworks like NIST SP 800-53.
- Familiarity with cloud, container, and DevSecOps security controls.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and operating systems.
- Proficiency in incident response and forensic analysis techniques.
- Experience with security tools such as Fortify and Prisma Cloud.
- Effective communication skills for conveying technical concepts.
- CISSP or equivalent certification to meet DoD 8140 requirements.
- Active TS//SCI clearance with CI poly.
