Responsibilities
- Lead software development across ideation, architecture, implementation, scaling, and production delivery.
- Create roadmaps, evaluate technology choices, analyze complex technical issues, and drive consensus with engineers and stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineers, support technical hiring, and establish effective engineering practices.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality, security, scalability, modifiability, extensibility, testability, and customer requirements.
- Serve as a product liaison for customers and partners, support onboarding, and help ensure continued success.
- Analyze product usage and operational data to drive systemic product improvements.
- Work with security and compliance teams to identify and address relevant issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience developing large-scale applications.
- In-depth knowledge of the CNCF ecosystem, including Kubernetes, its technology stack, and cloud-native tools.
- Proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages such as Go, C#, Java, C++, Python, or Rust, with strong computer science fundamentals.
- Hands-on knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, multithreading, synchronization, and cloud-native design.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux, CI/CD pipelines, Azure Pipelines, ArgoCD, FluxCD, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and proven expertise in high-availability services, web services, and service-oriented architectures.
- Strong system architecture, design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience writing Kubernetes controllers and operators, building multi-tenant SaaS environments, and using LLMs or generative AI to accelerate application development.
- Strong ownership, accountability, communication, collaboration, adaptability, initiative, and customer-focus skills.
