Base Salary
$87k - $134k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify computer programs for commercial or end-user applications.
- Write code, complete programming tasks, and perform application testing and debugging.
- Build and support APIs and generative AI integrations, including LLM-based and agentic AI capabilities.
- Complete technical documentation and installation and maintenance procedures.
- Interface with users and stakeholders to define system requirements and modifications.
- Develop cost estimates, budgets, and schedules as needed.
Requirements
- Be based in Austin, Texas, or the Greater Austin metropolitan area.
- Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python, including async/await patterns, type hints, Pydantic v2, and orjson.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, RAG architectures, LLM API integration, prompt engineering, and agentic AI patterns.
- Familiarity with intent classification and NLP pipelines.
- Preferred experience with FastAPI, software analysis and design, debugging, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, stakeholder collaboration, and installation and maintenance procedures.
- Preferred experience with MCP, JSON-RPC 2.0, REST APIs, Server-Sent Events, mTLS, agent-to-agent communication, OAuth2, API keys, streaming responses, cloud-native containerized applications, ChatOpenAI, and token management.
