Responsibilities
- Partner with the Salesforce Product Manager to align the platform with business objectives and architect scalable solutions.
- Design and customize Salesforce Government Cloud Plus solutions.
- Configure CRMA analytics dashboards and create and manage data recipes.
- Develop Apex code and Salesforce customizations, including triggers, scheduled and batch classes, objects, relationships, and UI components.
- Automate business processes using Process Builder, Flow, formulas, assignment rules, validation rules, approval processes, and email and Slack alerts.
- Build and maintain Salesforce integrations with external and internal applications using REST, SOAP, OAuth, and SSO.
- Maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and scalable, maintainable code.
- Migrate changes between development, testing, and production environments and conduct smoke testing.
- Provide end-user support and promote user self-sufficiency and adoption.
- Perform data updates and migrations with Data Loader and interface with Salesforce backup and recovery tools.
- Monitor Salesforce platform enhancements, releases, industry trends, and release-readiness activities.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of total IT experience, including at least 5 years of Salesforce platform development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong Salesforce customization and configuration experience, preferably with Sales Cloud; Government Cloud experience is preferred.
- Experience with CRMA, CRM Analytics, Tableau CRM, or Einstein Analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Apex, triggers, scheduled and batch classes, Process Builder, formulas, Flow, approval processes, validation rules, and assignment rules.
- Experience with Bootstrap, Lightning Design System, Lightning Components, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience integrating systems through REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and SSO.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and DevOps tools such as JIRA and GitHub Actions.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is strongly preferred; Platform Developer II is a plus.
- NetSuite integrations, solution architecture, and aerospace or defense industry experience are advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
