Responsibilities
- Gather and clarify solution requirements while ensuring stakeholder transparency regarding impacts.
- Design and develop new application features using VB.Net and .Net Framework.
- Implement solutions and perform functional testing of developed features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and provide end-user support.
- Recommend and execute code improvements to existing solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners, solutions architects, analysts, peers, and pod leadership.
- Contribute to the Marsh technology community and support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong VB.Net and .Net Framework experience with at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong MS SQL experience, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and triggers, with at least 2 years of experience.
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues in a cross-functional environment.
- Self-starter attitude and active contribution to the squad.
- MS Access and VBA experience is preferred.
- Previous financial or insurance industry exposure is preferred.
- Basic financial or accounting knowledge is preferred.
