Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Develop and work with machine learning models.
- Build AI agents that research, summarize, and take action on users’ behalf for local tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience programming in Python or C++.
- Three years of experience with end-to-end machine learning, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, or debugging.
- One year of experience with software design and architecture.
- One year of experience with state-of-the-art generative AI techniques or related concepts such as LLMs, multimodal systems, large vision models, language modeling, or computer vision.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: Five years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: Three years of experience in complex, matrixed organizations involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Preferred: One year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: Understanding of and passion for online local products and services and online consumer products.
