Responsibilities
- Embed security automation into infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across build, release, and run phases.
- Design and standardize secure infrastructure-as-code patterns and service orchestration in AWS.
- Design and maintain CI/CD security gates and deployment practices.
- Automate vulnerability operations and secure dependency management.
- Build observability and monitoring capabilities for agentic systems using OTEL.
- Contribute to incident response efforts and empower engineering teams with secure components and patterns.
- Influence the engineering roadmap and standardize security practices across technical teams.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in software engineering or platform engineering and security engineering.
- Experience implementing end-to-end orchestration and secure patterns in AWS.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD gates across build, release, and run phases.
- Exposure to secure dependency management and runtime vulnerability remediation.
- Hands-on practical use of AI for security and interest in novel threats and agentic systems.
- Ability to influence and support engineering teams as a technical subject matter expert.
- Successful candidates must complete a National Police Record check and have full-time Australian working rights.
