Responsibilities

  • Lead application security architecture vision and strategy across web, mobile, API, and cloud-hosted platforms.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to embed secure-by-design principles into products, features, and technology initiatives.
  • Lead security architecture reviews and threat-modeling activities.
  • Develop security patterns, frameworks, and architectural guardrails for secure development at scale.
  • Provide security guidance for crypto products, including wallet security, custody platforms, exchange connectivity, and blockchain integrations.
  • Evaluate emerging security technologies and tooling.
  • Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, Risk, and Compliance teams on security and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent security architecture in technical strategy and governance forums.

Requirements

  • Experienced Security Architect or senior security professional with a track record designing secure, scalable solutions across complex technology environments.
  • Strong application security expertise across web, mobile, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience with cryptocurrency, blockchain, or digital-asset platforms is highly regarded.
  • Deep understanding of modern security threats, secure development practices, and threat-modeling methodologies such as STRIDE, PASTA, or MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Experience working across AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience in regulated environments and familiarity with DORA, PCI-DSS, ISO, and SOC frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and influence technical and business decision-making.
  • A software engineering or application development background and certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, OSCP, CCSP, or AWS/Azure Security are highly regarded.
