Responsibilities
- Embed security automation into infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Standardize secure practices through infrastructure-as-code and service orchestration in AWS.
- Secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices across build, release, and runtime phases.
- Automate vulnerability operations and secure dependency management.
- Build observability and monitoring capabilities for agentic systems using OTEL.
- Contribute to incident response efforts.
- Enable engineering teams with secure components, patterns, and practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in software engineering, platform engineering, and security engineering.
- Experience implementing end-to-end orchestration and secure patterns in AWS.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD gates across build, release, and run phases.
- Experience or exposure to secure dependency management practices.
- Exposure to runtime vulnerability remediation.
- Hands-on practical use of AI for security and interest in novel threats and agentic systems.
- Ability to influence and improve practices across technical teams.
- Successful candidates must complete a National Police Record check and have full-time Australian working rights.
