Responsibilities
- Partner with internal teams to analyze applications, software, and services and drive security improvements.
- Design, develop, test, and evaluate security controls and cybersecurity infrastructure projects.
- Perform incident response, threat hunting, log analysis, and defensive operations.
- Design and implement detection strategies and workflows supporting the incident response lifecycle.
- Assess systems and networks for configuration deviations, policy issues, and vulnerabilities and support remediation.
- Conduct threat collection, processing, geolocation, network navigation, tactical forensic analysis, and digital evidence preservation.
- Analyze, integrate, test, operate, and maintain secure systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in security engineering or incident response within a technology company.
- In-depth experience with at least one major cloud platform.
- Strong knowledge of software development tools and infrastructure, including CI/CD tooling and pipelines.
- Comprehensive understanding of attacker tools and techniques, threat detection and prevention, and high-quality incident investigation.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical security and software concepts to nontechnical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a similar field is highly desired.
- Recognized cybersecurity training or certifications such as OSCP, GIAC, or CEH are highly desired.
- Experience with Splunk, Kubernetes, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Okta, GSuite, cloud-based VPN services, Python, Java, or Kotlin is highly desired.
