Pre-Sales Architect/Solution Architect

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Axway sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, and proof-of-concepts.
- Create technical content for RFIs and RFPs.
- Support technical escalations, design solutions, and answer technical questions throughout sales cycles.
- Develop customer relationships and maintain knowledge of clients’ industries, trends, and business processes.
- Translate customer business problems into Axway software solutions, value propositions, and compelling reasons to act.
- Lead discussions with Product Managers, Engineers, and Executives.
- Advise customers on B2B software and enterprise integration journeys.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience as a Software Engineer, Pre-Sales professional, or Technical Consultant, preferably with enterprise integration software companies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
- Fluent German and mandatory fluent English; fluent French is a plus and fluent Dutch is desirable.
- Experience with integration platforms and technologies such as APIs, microservices, B2B, and file-transfer governance.
- Understanding of cloud computing trends and cloud or hybrid deployment models.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, or scripting is highly desirable.
- Experience with Docker, containers, and AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Hands-on familiarity with message queues, synchronous and asynchronous communications, events, transaction protocols, and enterprise security standards.
- Experience with software development life cycle and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Strong communication, consulting, relationship, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to understand competitive technologies and their market positioning.
