Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Execute automation scripts, create and manage defects, follow issues through resolution, and perform regression testing.
- Plan and implement test automation scripts as part of the deployment pipeline.
- Update test execution status and follow established test status and automation scripting processes.
- Conduct peer reviews and ensure version control of test objects.
- Collaborate with development teams to capture and reuse unit tests, test stubs, drivers, and other development test objects.
- Provide technical guidance to junior-level test engineers and test technicians.
- Assist with test plans, budgets, schedules, and task estimates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium.
- Knowledge of Python or another similar scripting language.
- Experience with BDD frameworks and their components.
- Hands-on experience with Git and Git workflows.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the bug life cycle.
- Experience working on Agile projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the UniVerse programming language and database is a plus.
