Responsibilities
- Create and maintain automated tests using modern development techniques across all layers of the application stack.
- Produce and analyze quality metrics to support quality engineering and business decisions.
- Triage test failures, maintain build-pipeline health, and participate in code reviews for product, test, and infrastructure code.
- Collaborate with development, product, operations, and support teams to make quality a core design element.
- Participate in support escalations, prevent escaped defects, and follow applicable secure software development policies.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts, including performance and resiliency tests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related quantitative field.
- 6–9 years of professional experience in software development or automated testing using Python or similar languages.
- Experience with integration, regression, and unit testing.
- Experience working with relational database management systems, including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and concepts.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and GitHub.
- Preferred experience with Python, Java, or Golang and with software architecture and testing principles.
- Preferred exposure to BDD, I18N testing, Linux, Kubernetes, and container-based application development.
