Responsibilities

  • Create test cases from product specifications and execute test plans and test cases.
  • Design, develop, automate, and maintain test scripts for commercial software applications.
  • Perform manual UI testing and test REST APIs, SOAP services, and microservices.
  • Track defects from detection through resolution and collaborate with developers to reproduce and fix issues.
  • Set up and maintain personal and team testing environments, including Windows-based component release deployments and configuration files.
  • Provide PAS and stakeholder support, communicate product issues, and help resolve customer concerns with Customer Support teams.
  • Review software development processes and product documentation to improve quality and completeness.
  • Provide testing estimates and pre-release support before general availability.
  • Create documentation and knowledge bases for future use.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodology and software development lifecycle quality assurance practices.
  • Experience with manual UI testing and the ability to learn and adapt to existing payment products.
  • Required experience in the payments domain, including Payments, SWIFT, Fed, MT, MX, ACH, ISO messages, and payment lifecycle stages.
  • Knowledge of compliance, FX Payments, and Remote Accounting.
  • Ability to execute test plans and scripts, document expected versus actual results, and record software defects.
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools and the ability to design and develop automated testing programs.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS components, C++, DLLs, REST and SOAP web services, Selenium, Postman, and SOAP UI is preferred.
  • Experience testing microservices and REST APIs is beneficial; performance-testing knowledge and related tools are also beneficial.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, independence, teamwork, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
