Responsibilities
- Design, operate, manage, and refine research, development, and production cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and manage tools and processes that improve software development practices.
- Contribute to technical decisions involving tooling, infrastructure, and architecture.
- Partner with science, machine learning research, product, business development, and operations teams.
- Lead the Platform group and support stability for training and inference infrastructure.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Docker, Terraform, and at least one major cloud platform.
- Strong hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Clear understanding of Infrastructure as Code.
- Extensive experience with DevOps, release management, and automation.
- Experience with Helm, Kustomize, Kapitan, or similar deployment tools.
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or similar monitoring and observability technologies.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Ability to independently deliver solutions and work effectively across functions.
- Preferred: experience with GCP and machine-learning cloud infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience with GitHub Actions, strong software engineering foundations, and identifying and mitigating security risks.
