Base Salary
$120k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end AI architecture and platform strategy for Internal Audit use cases.
- Design and implement AI orchestration frameworks, agent-based workflows, RAG pipelines, validation layers, guardrails, and hallucination-mitigation techniques.
- Own model selection, evaluation, benchmarking, and trade-offs among performance, cost, latency, explainability, and risk.
- Deliver production-ready AI systems including model deployment, APIs, orchestration pipelines, and enterprise integrations.
- Establish LLMOps/MLOps practices for versioning, monitoring, evaluation, logging, rollback, reliability, scalability, and cost control.
- Embed AI governance, model risk management, security, privacy, bias detection, explainability, and auditability into system design.
- Translate audit and risk challenges into AI use cases such as control-testing automation, issue identification, narrative generation, and continuous auditing.
- Partner with Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, Legal, security, infrastructure, data engineering, and technology stakeholders while mentoring technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise software or data platforms.
- 3+ years focused on AI/ML solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, agents, and AI orchestration.
- Strong background in Azure or AWS and microservices-based architectures.
- Experience operationalizing AI systems with MLOps/LLMOps tools and practices.
- Strong data engineering, API, distributed-systems, security, privacy, regulatory, and enterprise-integration knowledge.
- Preferred experience includes Internal Audit, Legal, or Risk functions; model risk management or AI governance; vector databases, semantic search, enterprise data catalogs, process mining, control-testing automation, continuous auditing, or cloud/AI/ML certifications.
