Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and enhance simulation engines supporting Weapons Analysis Facility hardware-in-the-loop simulators.
- Integrate new and upgraded models into the WAF simulation framework.
- Support feasibility studies addressing simulator performance and hardware specification changes.
- Implement command-and-control messaging, signal-processing algorithms, and diagnostic communications monitoring.
- Develop software for distributed and parallel processing environments with hard real-time timing constraints.
- Produce technical documentation and contract CDRL deliverables.
- Provide bid and proposal support when requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Three years of experience developing, testing, and enhancing simulation engines and incorporating new capabilities.
- Seven or more years of experience developing, testing, and enhancing simulation engines for weapons systems or unmanned underwater vehicle simulation environments.
- Experience supporting hardware-in-the-loop simulation systems.
- Familiarity with hard real-time operating systems such as RedHawk Linux.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic computer literacy and data-entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
