Responsibilities
- Design, document, review, and enhance secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solution architectures.
- Lead cloud migration assessments, define migration roadmaps, and design hybrid and multi-cloud solutions.
- Embed security-by-design principles through threat modeling, countermeasures, secure API and data-exchange patterns, and compliance practices.
- Define migration and modernization patterns for legacy applications and databases, including encryption, backup, and failover planning.
- Present architecture options and trade-offs to business and IT stakeholders and participate in architecture review boards.
- Evaluate technologies and solution approaches through proofs of concept and minimum viable products.
- Advise business and IT leaders, streamline application onboarding, and align designs with enterprise standards.
- Mentor junior architects and technical teams on secure solution and design practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in solution architecture with significant security and application architecture responsibilities.
- Deep knowledge of architecture and design principles and algorithms for on-premises and cloud-native solutions.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP and cloud migration strategies.
- Expertise in IAM, PKI, encryption, network security, API security, and DevSecOps.
- Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
- Strong communication skills, stakeholder influence, and the ability to simplify complex designs.
- Preferred qualifications include GCP Architecture Certification, TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect certifications, and knowledge of AI/ML, regulations, sustainable technology, and ESG products.
