Base Salary
$210k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build flexible, auditable approval workflows configurable through natural language.
- Develop an intelligent collections agent that autonomously executes configurable payment follow-up workflows.
- Rearchitect billing infrastructure for approximately 10x throughput while balancing storage, scalability, cost, and performance.
- Design systems that process high-velocity event streams and maintain reliability for revenue-critical operations.
- Own engineering work end-to-end and contribute to fundamental architecture and product decisions.
- Work directly with customers and cross-functional product and design teams.
Requirements
- Production experience shipping backend systems.
- Ability to build reliable, resilient software and interest in distributed systems.
- Customer-oriented, end-to-end ownership from problem identification through shipping and production operation.
- Comfort working with ambiguity, sharing work in progress, and adapting based on feedback.
- Clear communication skills and comfort with production responsibility and on-call work.
- Deep relational database expertise is a nice-to-have, especially for complex queries and performance optimization.
