Responsibilities
- Analyze, plan, implement, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance the company’s security posture.
- Assist with incident response, threat hunting, security investigations, and phishing or business email compromise analysis.
- Support vulnerability management, secure code review, penetration testing, and remediation validation.
- Rotate across Security Operations and Application Security teams to gain exposure to multiple cybersecurity disciplines.
- Analyze and recommend security controls and procedures across the information systems acquisition, development, and change management lifecycle.
- Monitor, investigate, and triage suspicious or malicious activity and alerts.
- Implement and work with security products including firewalls, antivirus systems, IDS, IPS, web content filters, and Microsoft Windows security services.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Students entering their junior or senior year are preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity through coursework, projects, internships, certifications, research, or extracurricular activities is preferred.
- Understanding of security engineering best practices, including secure development, cryptography, network security, security operations, systems security, policy, and/or incident response.
- Innovative problem-solving skills and a passion for using technology to solve complex business problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively.
