Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modernize, and maintain enterprise applications using C#/.NET and Angular.
- Stabilize legacy codebases by addressing technical debt, reliability, performance, and maintainability issues.
- Extract services from legacy and monolithic systems and design maintainable APIs and service contracts.
- Design secure integrations covering authentication, authorization, data protection, and error handling.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and application data-access layers.
- Lead integration development using TypeScript/Node.js, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and PostgreSQL.
- Build, deploy, integrate, and support application services on Microsoft Azure.
- Define API contracts, integration patterns, error-handling approaches, observability, and security standards.
- Troubleshoot complex application, cross-service, and data-consistency issues and drive root-cause resolution.
- Lead architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews while establishing coding and testing practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams on scalable technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers and support delivery planning and estimation.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, and modern .NET.
- Experience building and maintaining enterprise web applications with Angular.
- Strong SQL Server skills, including stored procedures, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.
- Experience stabilizing, refactoring, and improving existing enterprise applications.
- Experience extracting services from monolithic or legacy systems and designing maintainable APIs.
- Understanding of secure service communication, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Strong hands-on development experience with TypeScript/Node.js.
- Expertise in API design, service contracts, integration patterns, and versioning.
- Practical experience designing or implementing gRPC services and Protocol Buffers contracts.
- Experience with PostgreSQL schema design, SQL, query optimization, and application integration.
- Experience deploying, integrating, and supporting application services on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, clean code, testing, debugging, and Git.
- Ability to lead design discussions, conduct architecture and code reviews, and mentor engineers.
