Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, test, and document software in C or C++ on Linux.
- Apply algorithms, optimization, parallel and concurrent programming, performance engineering, systems programming, or related technical knowledge.
- Use coding agents for codebase exploration, planning, implementation, debugging, testing, validation, and documentation.
- Review and validate agent-generated software changes using compilation, automated testing, static analysis, runtime diagnostics, profiling, and related techniques.
- Collaborate with engineers and learn unfamiliar technologies, tools, and technical domains.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in C or C++ programming on Linux, demonstrated through coursework, academic research, internships, open-source contributions, or personal projects.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, computational complexity, object-oriented programming, software debugging, and testing principles.
- Familiarity with coding agents and the ability to review and validate agent-generated results.
- Preferred experience or knowledge in algorithms and optimization, parallel and concurrent programming, performance engineering, systems programming, computer architecture, operating systems, compilers, large-scale data processing, electronic design automation, digital logic, simulation, emulation, verification, or semiconductor design workflows.
- Preferred experience with Git or Perforce, Make or CMake, GoogleTest, continuous integration, static analysis, and code review.
- Preferred familiarity with Agentic Software Engineering, Harness Engineering, Loop Engineering, Context Engineering, Agent Orchestration, Agent Skills, MCP-based capabilities, and Human-in-the-Loop Control.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, technical judgment, and learning skills.
