Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and ongoing support for custom Oracle APEX applications.
- Design, develop, consume, and expose RESTful web services for data exchange between APEX applications, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/HCM, and enterprise systems.
- Build and manage Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud or other middleware, Fusion APIs, BI Publisher reports or services, REST APIs, and SOAP web services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, SSO, and security controls for APEX, OCI services, and Fusion Cloud using OCI IAM, SAML 2.0, and OIDC.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and IT stakeholders in Finance, HR, and Supply Chain.
- Create technical documentation, integration maps, design specifications, test scripts, and support unit, system, and UAT testing.
- Optimize the performance and responsiveness of APEX applications and integrated services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent computer-related experience with at least 8 years of relevant, progressively responsible experience.
- At least 10–12 years of dedicated Oracle APEX Developer experience is preferred, including 3–4 years with Cloud ADBs.
- Proven experience integrating APEX applications with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/HCM using standard APIs and web services.
- Expertise designing and managing REST integrations, including consuming external services and providing services from APEX.
- Hands-on experience with SSO and security configuration in OCI IAM and Oracle Fusion environments.
- Expert Oracle APEX knowledge, including Interactive Grids/Reports, Forms, Pages, authentication, authorization, and themes.
- Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON; Oracle Integration Cloud experience is a significant advantage.
- Expert SQL and PL/SQL skills and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Relevant Oracle certifications, such as Oracle APEX Cloud Developer Professional, are highly valued.
- U.S. citizenship, a valid driver’s license, ability to obtain an HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential, and successful completion of a pre-placement physical examination and drug screen are required.
