Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated UI, API, and backend test frameworks using Playwright and Node.js.
- Lead end-to-end testing for major product releases from planning through production.
- Define acceptance criteria, test plans, and test cases with developers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues and coordinate long-term fixes.
- Optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Manage test processes, quality metrics, traceability, and test efficiency using test management tools.
- Identify coverage gaps across functional, regression, performance, accessibility, and security testing.
- Use AI tools and agents to generate and optimize test cases, automation scripts, test data, documentation, and defect analysis while validating outputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- More than five years of experience in software QA.
- Proven expertise with Playwright and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
- Experience testing modern web applications, REST or GraphQL APIs, and backend services.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with BrowserStack, Applitools, and Testim.
- Strong knowledge of TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, or similar test management tools and test case lifecycles.
- Exposure to performance, accessibility, security, mobile, API, database, automation, and manual testing.
- Knowledge of RAG, MCP, or similar AI integration concepts.
