Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and create comprehensive test plans.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects, performance issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Work with developers and product owners to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve software defects.
- Optimize automated test suites for test coverage and efficiency.
- Monitor and report testing progress, defect metrics, and test coverage.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and test automation best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as an Automation Testing Engineer focused on web and mobile applications.
- Strong proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium and Appium.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# for test automation scripting.
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices and tools.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
- ISTQB or CSTE certification is a plus.
