Responsibilities
- Create and execute automated test strategies covering integration, system, regression, performance, data quality, security, UAT, exploratory, and non-functional testing.
- Integrate automated testing scripts into CI/CD pipelines and develop test plans, cases, scripts, tools, and quality-assurance artifacts.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, libraries, suites, documentation, and tools for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Agile teams, product owners, and stakeholders to define quality goals, refine requirements, prioritize test work, and resolve defects.
- Perform manual and automated testing, analyze results and trends, document issues, and communicate findings.
- Review product architecture and design for testability, robustness, scalability, and automation suitability.
- Mentor team members in QA best practices and cloud technologies while contributing to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of overall experience in software quality assurance and at least 2 years of experience in software test automation.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
- Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks such as Robot Framework, Cucumber, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Pytest, TestNG, or JMeter.
- Experience with JavaScript or Bash and with Python, Java, or C# for developing test automation tools and suites.
- Experience with API testing using Postman and REST Assured, and with code coverage and static analysis tools such as SonarQube or Coveralls.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
- Experience with cloud-native applications, microservices, micro-frontends, data workflows, and preferably Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- MLOps experience and certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are desirable.
- Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban, strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
