Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to define test scenarios and understand requirements.
- Participate in test planning, test design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable testing assets.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and API testing activities.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing processes.
- Identify, document, and track defects while supporting issue resolution with development teams.
- Contribute to quality engineering best practices, process improvements, and automation adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 6 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar programming or scripting languages.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and software quality assurance practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning applications, or AI-powered solutions is advantageous.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
