Base Salary
$168k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver software on schedule with accurate estimates.
- Own production changes, including appropriate monitoring and operational readiness.
- Integrate internal and external APIs while maintaining data accuracy and consistency across distributed systems.
- Provide code reviews that prevent production issues and help team members grow.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to understand requirements, review technical requirements, and implement backlog tasks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business needs and design solutions.
- Support healthy system operations and high availability.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent years of working experience in the field.
- Backend-first full-stack experience with C#, Java, or an equivalent compiled object-oriented language on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend.
- Experience building customer-facing products in the financial services space.
- Expertise with application deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality practices.
- Knowledge of real-time data processing and event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka and Dapr.
- Experience designing and managing distributed caching strategies with Redis.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL or RDS, SQL queries, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Preferred: experience on a product engineering team.
- Preferred: experience deploying and scaling containerized microservices with Kubernetes in production.
- Preferred: experience using large language models and agentic workflows.
- Preferred: experience with Event Sourcing and frameworks such as Marten.
