Responsibilities
- Advise ODM and OEM customers on integrating AMD processors into automotive products and custom designs through architecture reviews, design-in support, and feature training.
- Analyze, debug, and root-cause issues across AMD processor-enabled platforms and software stacks, coordinating solutions with development teams.
- Validate new software features before releasing them to customers.
- Train field sales and support staff on AMD product features and usage.
- Author technical papers, reference solutions, and application notes for internal, NDA, and public audiences.
- Work closely with development teams and project managers to drive results and close action items.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer/software engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Good understanding of x86 processor architecture and strong experience with automotive infotainment applications.
- Strong development background involving CPU, GPU, or FPGA systems, middleware, system software drivers, BSP, HAL, or kernel development.
- Deep knowledge of operating-system concepts and programming in Linux and Android.
- Background in virtualization technologies and hypervisors.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python scripting.
- Broad systems knowledge spanning x86, SoC, platform hardware, platform software, BIOS/firmware, and tools.
- Proven experience enabling customers in product development, with strong customer communication, collaboration, influence, and consensus-building skills.
